Traditional Hatha Yoga
Practice is like gravity, it not only draws us closer to our centre, it arranges life magnetically so that the exact experiences we need in order to fulfil our spiritual reasons for being here are drawn towards us.
Hatha Yoga focuses on harnessing the breath in order to quieten and calm the mind so that we can access our inner compass and wisdom that is within each of us.
Traditional Hatha includes a full spectrum of practices:
Asana (physical postures)
Pranayama (breathing techniques)
Kriya (meditation)
Kirtan/Bhakti (chanting)
Pranadharyna (movement of energy)
Yantra (Numerology)
Ayurveda (‘The Science of Life’)
During a class we will focus on your breath and longer holds in your postures. This will support you in stillness of the mind and soften your thoughts in preparation for meditation.
These are traditional lineage-based tools that guide us back towards a feeling of wholeness.
Moon Hatha ~ reclaim a mind that is tranquil & calm.
Sun Hatha ~ build strength & power in order to thrive and stand in your truth.
Fire Hatha ~ burns through limitations & self-doubt.

Weekly classes
Saturdays- 9am | St Paul’s Church, Monton ~ We begin in February
Sun Hatha - An energizing, enlivening practice :) Sun is about energy management and developing a deeper relationship to Prana, the energy that sustains us and all of life. This class is perfect if you are feeling stagnant, have poor circulation, you are looking to feel more positive and are ready to start working more on an energetic level.
Fridays - 6pm | St Paul’s Church, Monton
Moon Hatha - A nourishing, grounding practice :) Moon is a slow and powerful practice of deep holds in primarily forward folds and twists, with a focus on conscious and extended exhalations which guide awareness inwards, to touch that pure space of stillness that exists beyond the thinking mind.
1-2-1 Private Yoga
